Meet Maggie Thompson

Founder & Principal Workplace Strategist

“I believe we spend far too many hours at work to not like what we’re doing, and who we’re doing it with.”

I’m an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist and Leadership Studies practitioner with over a decade of experience shaping leadership programs, organizational culture strategies, and workplace well-being initiatives. Through Inclusive Spaces Consulting, I help leaders and organizations design cultures that are psychologically safe, authentically led, and grounded in evidence—not buzzwords.

My approach blends research, reflection, and real-world application. Every partnership is rooted in data, empathy, and continuous learning—because culture work is human work.

The I.M.P.A.C.T. Framework:

A Research-Informed Approach to Leadership and Culture Transformation

Identify → Measure → Plan → Apply → Check → Transform

At Inclusive Spaces, every engagement—from keynotes to culture consulting—follows the I.M.P.A.C.T. framework, a research-informed process designed to create measurable, sustainable change.

  • Identify: Listen deeply to uncover challenges, needs, and goals.

  • Measure: Assess systems, behaviors, and cultural dynamics using data and dialogue.

  • Plan: Co-design evidence-informed strategies and interventions.

  • Apply: Pilot and implement in real contexts with ongoing support.

  • Check: Evaluate outcomes and gather feedback for learning.

  • Transform: Refine, embed, and evolve successful practices.

Whether you’re developing leaders, rebuilding trust, or redefining team culture, I.M.P.A.C.T. ensures that growth isn’t accidental—it’s intentional, trackable, and transformative.

Speaking & Thought Leadership

Keynotes that Inspire Real Change

As a keynote speaker and facilitator, I deliver engaging, evidence-informed talks that spark reflection and practical action at the intersection of leadership, inclusion, and well-being. Every keynote begins with listening to your audience, challenges, and goals so the message resonates, not generalizes.

Topics include:

  • The Power of Self-Awareness – The foundation of authentic leadership.

  • The Shadow of a Leader – Understanding your influence on culture.

  • Psychological Safety in Practice – What it looks like in applied settings.

  • Professional Authenticity – Aligning who you are with how you lead

  • Neurodiversity 101 – Leading with curiosity, compassion, and inclusion.

Workshops, Retreats, & Team Development

Transforming Connection into Capability

From half-day intensives to immersive leadership retreats and team building experiences, Inclusive Spaces designs experiences that help teams build trust, strengthen communication, and sustain well-being.

Research consistently links authentic communication and psychological safety to higher engagement, innovation, and retention. These sessions translate those insights into daily behaviors—so teams don’t just learn; they live the culture they want to create.

Culture & Workplace Strategy

Where Strategy Meets Humanity

Inclusive Spaces partners with organizations to assess, design, and sustain cultures through organizational development consulting that prioritizes authenticity, belonging, and well-being.

Each phase of the I.M.P.A.C.T. framework comes to life here — from identifying root causes to transforming daily behaviors into lasting culture change.

We blend qualitative insights, stakeholder feedback, and research-based tools — from needs and root-cause analyses to culture audits and focus groups — to uncover opportunities and embed long-term impact.

Culture transformation isn’t a one-time project; it’s a practice of listening, learning, and evolving together.
